I am a philosopher of science working at the University of Wuppertal.
I studied theoretical physics in Aachen, where I did my Diplom (research master) specialising in particle physics and cosmology. My interest in more foundational questions then led me to study philosophy of science at the London School of Economics, obtaining a M.Sc. in 2012. I completed my PhD at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (MCMP), Ludwig Maximilians University Munich, before moving to the Institute of philosophy at the Leibniz University Hannover. At the University of Wuppertal, I'm a member of the Philosophische Seminar and the IZWT, which is also where the research unit "The Epistemology of the LHC" is based.
I am interested in the various ways scientists reason in theory development and theory assessment. On this site, you can find more information about my research, teaching and forthcoming talks.
